God’s Perfect Timing in the Housing Market

In 2021, when the housing market was wild and competitive, two of my sons decided they wanted to buy a house together. But they weren’t just looking for any house—they needed a few specific things that would make it perfect for their two Siberian Huskies, and they had their hearts set on a particular neighborhood.

When they finally found a house that fit, they were thrilled. They put in a bid—well over the asking price—but lost. The disappointment was heavy.

They kept searching, but nothing compared to that first house. Watching their discouragement grow, I turned to the Lord in prayer, asking Him for a breakthrough. I prayed specifically that He would either provide them with an even better home in their desired area or somehow bring that first house back around.

Weeks passed, and it seemed like nothing was happening. They were ready to give up their house hunt altogether. But then, a miracle unfolded. A better house in the same neighborhood appeared, and they quickly put in a bid. That very day, their agent received a call—the original house was coming back on the market, and the sellers were offering it to them first!

For 24 hours, my sons had the incredible blessing of choosing between two houses in the exact neighborhood they had dreamed of. In the end, they purchased the second house, which truly was the better fit. Today, they and their Huskies are thriving in their new home.

God’s timing was perfect, and His blessing was abundant!
